Nature & Nourish: Trail Adventure at Coyote Hills
Join us for a rejuvenating day of exploration and relaxation as we hike the scenic Coyote Hills Regional Park! This moderate 5 mile hike offers stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, vibrant wildflowers, and an opportunity to connect with nature. Perfect for all skill levels, this hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing plenty of time to soak in the beauty around you.
Themed Small Group Dinner with TAP-SF
Join TAP-SF for a themed small group dinner on December 16th at 7pm! Over dinner, each person will share about one book, movie, song, piece of culture, etc. that has influenced their Taiwanese American/Taiwanese identity. This event will be capped at six people to foster meaningful conversation and will be facilitated by a TAP-SF board member.

Radical Family Farms Visit
Join TAP-SF on a special farm tour of Radical Family Farms in Sebastopol. Radical Family Farms grows culturally relevant crops for the Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, and South East Asian diaspora. Their crops are grown with agroecological, regenerative, no-spray, chemical-free, and low-till methods. There will be some products (juhua tea, olive oil, hot sauces) and swag available to purchase for the first time just in time for the holidays!

Taiwanese Heritage Day at the SF Giants
Come out for the inaugural Taiwanese Heritage Night at Oracle Park! The San Francisco Giants will be playing against the Arizona Diamondbacks at 6:45pm on Tuesday Sept 3. Mochi Making Class
Join TAP-SF and Kaori's Kitchen for a hands-on mochi making class! Chef Yukiko will teach participants how to make daifuku mochi from scratch. She will have various filling options such as fresh fruit, chocolate, and sweet red bean. She will also teach participants how to make ice cream mochi! This event will be held at a residential location in San Leandro, and spots will be limited so sign up soon! Address and further instructions will be provided after sign up.

Hike path: skyline-to-the-sea => meteor => middle ridge => dool => back to skyline-to-the-sea. Counter clockwise.

SF 6-Mile Hike
Join us in exploring San Francisco via a 6-mile hike followed by optional lunch!

Starting from Lands End, we will follow the coast to Baker Beach, then the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, and finally end at the Palace of Fine Arts. The Google Maps path is slightly inaccurate because we will take the beach to the sand ladder, so it will be around 6 miles. And depending on our pace, it will take around 3 hours. Optional lunch afterward around Chestnut St. Location to be discussed.

TAP-SF: Paint (and Sip)
Join TAP-SF for an afternoon of painting! We will be led step-by-step by a local Taiwanese-American painting teacher to create a watercolor and pen landscape of Taipei. Frances Kao (she/they) is a Bay Area native and holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, Frances teaches painting and drawing (and woodworking and PE!) at a middle school in Palo Alto.

We will start at TP Tea San Mateo (no host) and head over to San Mateo Central Park for more space. Feel free to bring picnic blankets and/or lawn chairs in case the benches are mostly/all taken. Recommend dressing in layers to stay warm. See you there!
Ice Skating
Come and ice skate with TAP-SF! We will be gathering at Winter Lodge in Palo Alto on Sunday 3/24 during a public skating session from 3-5pm.
Tickets are $22 and include general admission and skate rentals. Please purchase your own ticket at the Winter Lodge website. Winter Lodge has stated that all tickets must be purchase ahead of time.
Crafting Bee - South Bay
Join TAP-SF for an afternoon of crafting and conversation! Have you ever longed for those golden olden days when folks would gather in a circle to knit, sew, and chitchat? Let's bring that back! Come with your own arts or crafts project to work on alongside other TAP-SF members - bring a friend or meet some new ones. Whether you're embroidering, building a model, painting, decoupaging, or folding origami, it will be a wholesome afternoon of creativity and camaraderie.
