Join TAP-SF for an engaging discussion on "Green Island", a powerful novel by Taiwanese American author Shawna Yang Ryan. Set against the backdrop of Taiwan's White Terror era, this multi-generational story explores themes of identity, family, and political resilience. Whether you’ve read the book before or are discovering it for the first time, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and reflect on Taiwan’s history. All are welcome! This discussion will be hosted in a public space and will be facilitated by a member of TAP's board. We will also send out relevant articles and podcast interviews for people who prefer to consume information that way or are unable to finish the book but would still like to participate.
