Join TAP-SF on a special farm tour of Radical Family Farms in Sebastopol. Radical Family Farms grows culturally relevant crops for the Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese, and South East Asian diaspora. Their crops are grown with agroecological, regenerative, no-spray, chemical-free, and low-till methods. There will be some products (juhua tea, olive oil, hot sauces) and swag available to purchase for the first time just in time for the holidays!

Mochi Making Class

Join TAP-SF and Kaori's Kitchen for a hands-on mochi making class! Chef Yukiko will teach participants how to make daifuku mochi from scratch. She will have various filling options such as fresh fruit, chocolate, and sweet red bean. She will also teach participants how to make ice cream mochi! Hike path: skyline-to-the-sea => meteor => middle ridge => dool => back to skyline-to-the-sea. Counter clockwise. 

~4.8 miles. ~800-900 ft elevation gain. ~3 hours with a lunch break.

Parking: Attendees are responsible for making your own parking reservation on the Big Basin website. “Reservations for parking are not required, but are encouraged due to the limited amount of first-come, first-served parking available.”Carpools can be coordinated at this Caroster link but not guaranteed.

Join us in exploring San Francisco via a 6-mile hike followed by optional lunch!

Starting from Lands End, we will follow the coast to Baker Beach, then the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center, and finally end at the Palace of Fine Arts. The Google Maps path is slightly inaccurate because we will take the beach to the sand ladder, so it will be around 6 miles. And depending on our pace, it will take around 3 hours. Optional lunch afterward around Chestnut St. Location to be discussed.

Join TAP-SF for an afternoon of painting! We will be led step-by-step by a local Taiwanese-American painting teacher to create a watercolor and pen landscape of Taipei. Frances Kao (she/they) is a Bay Area native and holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, Frances teaches painting and drawing (and woodworking and PE!) at a middle school in Palo Alto.

We will start at TP Tea San Mateo (no host) and head over to San Mateo Central Park for more space. Feel free to bring picnic blankets and/or lawn chairs in case the benches are mostly/all taken. Tickets are $22 and include general admission and skate rentals. Please purchase your own ticket at the Winter Lodge website. Winter Lodge has stated that all tickets must be purchase ahead of time.
