Cap off the year with us on this 3.5-mile loop trail in Mount Tamalpais State Park - the route will take us down to Muir Woods through the back way (no reservations required), where we’ll walk amongst beautiful old-growth redwoods, before climbing back up to the starting trailhead. Restrooms located at Muir Woods. No dogs allowed in Muir Woods, unfortunately.
This hike is rated MODERATE on an unpaved path going up and down on dirt, rocks, and tree roots with 836 ft of elevation gain over the course of about 2 hours. Please come prepared.
