Want to learn more about Taiwanese history? Do you have difficulty communicating with your Taiwanese family members? Is your family reluctant to talk about the past? Do you want to learn new approaches to communicating with your Taiwanese family members?

Join TAP-SF for an interactive workshop with Eric Tsai, TaiwanPlus Content Producer and OFTaiwan Cofounder. Through his work telling Taiwan’s stories through OFTaiwan and TaiwanPlusOne, Eric has spoken with many Taiwanese Americans who have experienced challenges communicating with their families.

In this workshop, Eric will provide context around the history and background of Taiwan and how it may impact intergenerational communication. Drawing upon his personal experiences, he will share approaches that have enabled him to better communicate with his own family. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, participate, and share their own experiences.
