Date: Saturday, October 8, 2011
Time: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Location:
Kinsell Commons development, 970, 81st Avenue, Oakland, CA 94621

Cost: Free!

Participate in one of the most popular volunteering events in the Bay Area! TAP will be working to build part of the Kinsell Commons development with Habitat for Humanity’s East Bay Chapter. Habitat for Humanity builds sustainable homes for families with limited incomes with the help of volunteers like you.

The type of work on this day may include installations, painting, landscaping or other work that will help build the property. By owning a particular part of the house-building process, you will be able to see a drastic change from the start of the day to when you finish.

Spend this day with fellow TAP members and Habitat volunteers for a very rewarding experience. Everyone will also bring their own lunch so we will eat together during the lunch break. Also, this is a great event to attend if you’re interested in participating in TAP’s Community Service Committee.

If you have any questions, please email TAP-SF Community Service Chair at wilson.tsao@tacl.org
